  • Mark Coffey is the Lead Pastor of Community Life Church in Port Charlotte, Fl.

Born and raised in Atlanta, and still a Georgia boy at heart, Mark was called into ministry and served as a children’s and youth pastor for 20 years. During this time he graduated with honors at Beulah Heights Bible College, married his lovely wife Suzanne, and had his first two children, Emily and Rachel. Moving to a mega church in South Atlanta, Mark learned many things, including how to lead a church, from his pastor and mentor, Randy Valimont. It wasn’t until four years later, while expecting their third child, Caleb, he felt called to be a lead pastor. In 2004 Mark and his family made the move to Florida, with two young girls and a baby boy, to be a fist time lead pastor. The challenges have been great, but one thing he knows is God is up to something big and he’s glad to be a part of it.
